BFI British Certification & Expenditure Credits

Please login or register an account to make a new application or manage an existing submission for British Certification of a film, high-end television programme, animation programme, children's TV programme, or video game, to access the UK Creative Sector Expenditure Credits. 

If you had an account on our old system you will still need to register for a new account. As this is a completely new system to previous, you are unable to access any applications submitted through the old system.

Please note:

• Our turnaround time is 6 to 8 weeks from receiving your application to issuing a certificate, we would encourage productions and companies to build these longer timeframes into their schedules when applying for the cultural tests.
• From 1st July 2025 any auditor's reports for the cultural test and co-production applications and the Enhanced AVEC criteria must be administered by an accountant listed on the statutory auditor register. The register can be found here to confirm if an accountant is listed and eligible to administer your report.
